Leslie Powers was born and raised in California. After receiving her BS in Elementary Education from UoP, she lived and worked in Las Vegas in Clark County School District for about a decade. LP made her way to Winslow in 2010 and never looked back. She has taught in WUSD for 13 years in various primary grade levels, and she is back for year four as an Academic Coach. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding and driving her horses, and kayaking in her free time. She looks forward to making a positive impact, building relationships, and providing support for teachers throughout the year. Her motto is, "Work hard. Play hard."

Briana Conatser was born and raised right here in Winslow. She is happy to be back for the fourth year as one of the district's Academic Coaches! BC has taught ELA in various school districts across the state at a variety of grade levels, but she considers Winslow to be her "home court". She's been teaching for 10 years and in education for 14 overall. BC has a BA in English from ASU, an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from GCU, and she has just completed her dissertation for her Ed. D. in Organizational Development with a study on teacher retention and support strategies. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing and coaching sports, spending time at the Creek, and traveling. She is looking forward to working with new and veteran teachers this year. Her motto is, "Better every day!"

Taylor Mills was born and raised in Tucson. She received her BS in Elementary and Special Education from NAU and moved to Winslow to start teaching in 2016. She taught 6th grade for 9 years before transitioning to the role of Academic Coach. TM also has an MS in Instructional Technology and is finishing her M.Ed in educational leadership, both from GCU. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, working on art projects, going to the creek, and playing softball. She is looking forward to working with teachers and providing them with encouragement and support. Her motto is, "Never stop learning!"
